The Department of Strategic and developmental Studies has 14 full-time and over 30 part-time members who do research in various fields. It conducts its researches under three main workshops, namely, "Rural Development", "Economic Development" and "Sustainable Development and Natural Environment Studies", each of which work in line with the goals and policies of the Institute.
The deprtment's main objective is to identify, study, and evaluate various aspects of development plans from an applied perspective that can provide feasible solutions and reduce the social and financial costs of development plans and policies.
