KSI library began its work soon after the establishment of the institute in 2000. It aims to provide information resources for the development of research and academic activities of the Institute. The library has a current stock of 5000 Kurdish books, 3000 Persian books, and more than 15,000 printed copies of 50 different journal titles. It is worth noting that the personal libraries of Mahin Dokht Motamedi and Mohammd Khaled Masouri were donated to the KSI library in 2014 and 2016, respectively. KSI library offers services to students, staff, faculty members, and researchers inside and outside the University of Kurdistan.
Cooperation with the library
To develop its collection and to meet the needs of academics and researchers, KSI library appreciates resource donation (print or electronic) and welcomes any kind of cooperation such as the building of memoranda of understanding (MOU) with organizations consistent with the objectives of the institute, cooperation with experts in the field, and the like.
